Introduction
This article presents an innovative and tested approach to the solution of algebraic equations. In particular, it discusses balance scale and machine approach , two independent and complementary approaches to deepon the child's understanding of equations and it's solutions. It also contains a series of amply illustrated games and activities for classroom teachers and children.
